Las fuentes de alimentación de esta serie están diseñadas para la alimentación de maniobras que requieran una corriente continua estabilizada partiendo de la tensión de red.

La estabilización de la tensión de salida se obtiene mediante un regulador conmutado en primario de tipo flyback o forward según el modelo, con lo que se consigue un elevado rendimiento.
